2/15/2018 - Appeal Period Begins on Preliminary Flood Maps - Harding Township - Region 2

FEMA's 90 day Appeal Process has begun for the Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps (FIRMS).  This period runs from February 15, 2018 to May 15, 2018.   Flood Hazard Determination Notices were sent to municipal officials and public notification has been made by placing notice in local papers on two separate occasions.

Residents are encouraged to review the Preliminary Flood Insurance Rate Maps recently revised by FEMA.    The Morris County Planning Department, the FEMA Map Service Center and FEMA's Flood Insurance web pages all provide additional information.
