3/17/2020 - Notice Regarding Zoning Office Operations - March 17, 2020

Effective March 17th 2020


The Township municipal building will be closed to the general public effective March 17, 2020 until further notice. HOWEVER, the business of the Township will continue, with some modifications.

The Construction Office will be operating on a revised weekly schedule. In order to provide the necessary inspection service, we ask that you be patient and realize our abilities will be limited moving forward due to the Public Health Emergency. Our goal is to make every attempt to keep Contractors and Homeowners moving forward with any current projects.

We will also be accepting all new applications in our drop box provided. If you need to drop off documents or permits for review, there is an Application/Plans/Drop Box located at the rear entrance door of the Municipal Building at 21 Blue Mill Road. The appropriate staff will receive these documents throughout the week. Please be sure to include contact information and multiple emails including the contractor and the owner.

Payments for permits may continue to be made by check. ALL checks shall be made payable to “Harding Township”.  Please consider utilizing postal mail for payments and other correspondence at: Township of Harding Attention Construction P.O. Box 666 New Vernon, NJ 07976. If you wish to make a payment in person, be advised that there is a Check Drop Box located at the rear entrance to the building.
