There is good news in a flattening of the post-holiday surge in COVID-19 cases. However, the number of infections, hospitalizations, and deaths continue at an alarming rate around the Country.
In addition, the CDC has observed increasing evidence of several COVID mutations which make the virus more contagious and possibly may cause more severe illness.
We would like our residents to remain vigilant and continue to follow the NJ Department of Health and CDC recommendations on wearing masks, social distancing, hand washing, and limiting the size of indoor gatherings.
We encourage all residents to sign up for a vaccination. The available vaccines, although in short supply, provide effective immunity at two weeks after the second dose.
