If you need an interpreter for your case OR if you need accommodations for a disability.

Not Guilty Pleas:

Courts now offer online ticket review to dispute certain moving violations through the Online Municipal Case Resolution System.  Simply visit www.njmcdirect.com and enter your ticket information to see if your offense is eligible and select the option for “Case Dispute”.  Eligible traffic tickets will be reviewed by the prosecutor and you will be notified of their recommendation.  If you accept their recommendation, No Court Appearance will be required!

If your ticket is not eligible for online ticket review, you will need to contact the Municipal Court to enter a Not Guilty plea.

Public Defender Requests:

If you intend to plead Not Guilty and wich to have a Public Defender represent you, you may obtain the application by contacting the Violations Bureau during business hours.  The application can be emailed to you.  The judge will review your request and if approved, there is a fee of not more than $200.00 for the Public Defender services.  The fee MUST be paid before your trial date.
